Christmas & New Year Closure
With the Christmas season fast approaching, confirmation of our closure dates, for the 2011 holiday period are detailed below.
Decora will close on Thursday 22nd December at 5.00pm, re-opening on Tuesday 3rd January 2012 at 9.00am. To ensure all your orders are processed and dispatched in time for Christmas please find details below on the relevant cut off dates and times.
UK and NI Customer Orders via Customer ServicesOur latest dates/times for receiving orders placed via Customer Services are as follows:
Made to Measure Products: Wednesday 14th December @ 5.00pm.
Wholesale Products: Tuesday 20th December @ 5.00pm.
Cut off times for orders placed via EDI or Online ordering are as follows:
Online Orders: Thursday 15th December @ 5.00pm
EDI Orders: Thursday 15th December @ 5.00pm.
Same Day, EDI or Online orders: Monday 19th December @ 1.00pm.
Our latest dates/times for receiving orders placed via Customer Services are as follows:
Made to Measure : Thursday 8th December @ 5.00pm.
Wholesale Products: Monday 12th December @ 5.00pm.
NB: Please note all parcels over 2.4mts length can take 2-3 days for delivery, please take this into consideration when placing all orders.

Top Marketing Award For Decora

Decora Blind Systems are celebrating after winning the Chartered Institute of Marketing award for Best Marketing and Sales.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing recently celebrated the highlight of its centenary year- the 2011 Marketing Excellence Awards Ireland, held in the City Hall, Belfast. This prestigious event gathered together around 400 guests to celebrate the achievements of the marketing profession across the island of Ireland, championing best marketing and sales practice. Shortlisted for three of these prestigious awards, including Best New Product Introduction Campaign and Best Brand Development Campaign for Santa Fe Shutters, Decora Blind Systems were pronounced overall winner of Best Marketing and Sales in the Textiles and Fabrics category for The Fabric Box.
The Fabric Box collection is no stranger to awards having previously been winner of Best Blinds Collection by the Home Decoration Retailers Association, and achieving the 2010 Chartered Institute of Marketing Highly Commended award for Best Marketing Campaign. Decora’s Sales and Marketing Director Russell Dickson, who was presented with this latest award by renowned Irish entrepreneur Paul Costelloe, said “We are absolutely delighted to receive this award that recognises the efforts and commitment of everyone who has been involved in The Fabric Box relaunch”.
The Fabric Box is an eclectic collection of trend led fabrics for Roller, Vertical, Roman, Roof and Panel blinds. The fabric designs evolve from the fast paced fashion industry, with new colour palettes and designs being added to keep up with the latest trends. The recent update of the Fabric Box offers some of the latest designs from interior trends including stripes, dandelions and soft floral prints.

Britain's Ugliest Room

Interior designer Gordon Whistance unearths the worst DIY disasters and dodgy decorating in a new series, exclusive to the Home TV channel. Gordon is on a mission to give these aesthetically-challenged rooms the makeover of their lives. Along the way, Gordon dispenses plenty of DIY do's and dont's for the budget conscious in the hope that everyone can avoid an ugly room. On Thursday 6th October a makeover in Bracknell features The Fabric Box's Puriti roller blind and the following Thursday sees Gordon using a Fabric Box Zest Tangerine Roman blind to demonstrate how to cost-effectively create the illusion of a headboard.
