Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
Provide support and take the lead in the development & implementation of Business Intelligence reporting across the business.
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 2.00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Lisburn, BT28 (office based)
- Create data structures and dashboards utilising Power BI and other tools.
- Drive the take up of BI throughout the business through user engagement, training and education.
- Provide support to resolve escalated problems with existing BI systems and dashboards.
- Work with other departments to identify reporting requirements and solutions.
- Assist with the specification, testing and implementation of reporting and BI systems.
- Query databases to analyse data and produce information.
- Ensuring data validation and integrity.
- Liaise with third party development / support providers.
- Assist with data integration projects between platforms and systems.
- Undertake project work as agreed.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
- Third level IT Qualification
- At least 2 years relevant experience in a reporting, BI or data analysis role
- Good level of experience with Power BI, Crystal Reports and/or SQL/SSIS/SSRS
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Excellent Communication skills
- Willing to be flexible in terms of working hours
- Regular availability for overtime
- Able to work in a team or individually
- Experience in working with Python
- Experience in supporting ERP system, in particular Microsoft Dynamics Nav
- Experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server
